NEXT RACE AT CAMPBELL RIVER After our two successful VIMX championship events we now get to the next races on the calender. Hopefully this will attract new riders and seasoned competitors alike who are taking part in the BCOT races as they journey up and down the Island. On Wednseday 11th 18th and 25th July, Campbell River Motocross Association will be running their Wednesday night races. Classes for Minis, Junior, Intermediate and Vets will run as required on the night. The races will be on a shorter track over 5 laps. Each class will get 3 laps practice. All categories will get a minimum of 2 moto's. Depending on time and the weather you may get 3 moto's each. There will be a final for seeded riders in a dash for cash race. A nightly title sponsor is being courted as we write. Entry fee is $25 and no licence is required. Entries are strictly limited to 100 riders. There is no gate or camping fees, but you must have a day pass or club membership if you require to practice beforehand on the track. The track will be closed from 5:00 pm on Tuesday for grooming. Last years races were fun despite the weather, this year promises more fun and we have a good forecast. Any help on the night would be greatly appreciated. |
