The completion of our Summer series on Wednesday the 6th July ended with a successfull event. We had our best entry of 35 riders, no doubt brought out by the bumper prize fund boosted by Jason Beaulieu to $500 with Colton McClean taking the winners spoils. Only low note was an injury to Tony Fancedit who hurt his back in the warm ups, we wish him a speedy recovery. The race series was an outstanding success and proved that if you put races on people will attend. However we have now dipped our finger in the pond and we know how we can improve attendance and try to cover our costs. The idea was to open the sport up to a greater ordience, attract new riders and make it as cheap as we could. We accomplished all of that and now have several new racers and a few future younger racers coming through in time. This was a fun series and we did it, had some great racing, plenty of fun and when riders ask if we can do some more one offs then it proves we are giving them what they want. Many thanks to our Exec team who worked beautifully together again and Ed Allen for grooming, watering and first aid cover.
